Mission:"To enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Ozark by
increasing situational awareness through the use of
accurate field data combined with strict database
management to produce high-level cartographic output."
A geographic information system is a combination of hardware, software,
and staff that create, analyze, and maintain spatial and tabular
geographic information databases. Geographic information depicts the
location of features and activities and includes descriptive information
concerning a place or situation. This information is then used to
understand the interrelationship between locations and activities,
making it invaluable for decision making.
