Hours of Operation are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
For your convenience, a utility billing drop box is located at the drive up window of City Hall for after hour payments. It is a locked vault that is openend every morning. In addition to mailing, payments can be made in person in our office, at the walk up window, or the drive thru during business hours.
Rates:
As of 1/1/08
Water rates inside the city limits are $7.98 for the first 1000 gallons (min.charge) and $2.36
per 1000 gallons thereafter. Locations outside the city limits are charged $11.97 for the first
1000 gallons and $3.54 per 1000 gallons there after.
Sewer rates inside the City limits are $9.26 for the first 1000 gallons (min. charge) and $5.49 per 1000 gallons thereafter. Sewer charges are calculated on your water usage for the month. Locations outside the City limits are charged $13.89 for the first 1000 gallons and $8.24 per 1000 gallons thereafter.
Billing:
Water and Sewer charges will be included on the same bill with sewer and trash. At initial registration, you will be notified which Wednesday of the month you will be billed. Your bill is due upon receipt and late after your billing date. Payments are always due on Tuesdays. If payment is late, your next bill will notify you with a red disconnect stamp of the date at which your water and sewer will be disconnected. This will be the only warning before you are disconnected. A fee of $35 plus the total amount due is required for reconnection.
