As Alderman of Ward Two in the City of Ozark, I bring forth exceptional experience and a community driven mind. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), I have the financial expertise needed to perform my duties as Alderman.
I've been married to my splendid wife, Jane Smith, for twenty years now and together we have 3 children, Zach, Rachel and Anna. The 3 of them attend various schools throughout the Ozark School District and I couldn't be more proud of their academic success.
My public work in Ozark includes: being a member of the LCRA Board, previously serving on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as Treasurer and more recently, Vice-Chairman, a contributing attribute to the Advisory Board of Least of These and lastly Council Liaison to Budget and Chamber of Commerce.
When not participating in local activities I enjoy leisured reading, staying active by playing basketball and tennis with Zach, attending Rachel's cheer competitions, exercising my mind with Anna and of course, spending quality time with my wife.
I ran for Alderman because Ozark has great things to offer. The 2010 Census named Ozark the fasting growing city in Missouri. What the Census failed to depict is how that same title is true for more than just our population, we're growing culturally and economically. Ozark has a higher median income and home value than the state average. But there is still work to be done and improvements to be made. I hope to hear the concerns of Ozark, which are so often my concerns as well, and take community oriented steps to amend those concerns. Yet, I acknowledge that I cannot achieve this on my own. Only with the help of the people of Ozark may we accomplish what we have set for ourselves.
