MORE INFORMATION:
Public comment regarding a Face Mask Covering Ordinance will be on the agenda for an August 10, 2020 Board meeting and will take place at the Ozark Community Center at 6:00 PM. The City of Ozark made this decision due to safety, health, and social
distancing precautions. A recent survey regarding this topic garnered a high-volume response and therefore the City of
Ozark and The Board determined that a larger space will allow residents to safely speak while adhering to CDC
guidelines.

For residents who are interested in speaking, sign-ups will be available at the meeting on August 10. To ensure the safety and health of our community, all meeting attendees must wear a mask or face covering inside the Ozark Community Center and will have their temperature checked at the door. Anyone with a temperature over 100.4 degrees will not be allowed to enter The OC due to the potential threat of spreading infection.

Anyone with a medical condition which inhibits their ability to wear a mask will be able to view the meeting through a computer display in an office room (and may address council during the public meeting using the computer station) but will not be allowed inside the overflow room or main speaker room without wearing a mask.

Each person addressing the Board shall step before the City Clerk, give his/her name and address for the record and, unless further time is granted by the Board, shall limit his/her address to three (3) minutes. All remarks shall be addressed to the Board as a body and not to any member thereof. No person, other than the Board and the person
having the floor, shall be permitted to enter any discussion, either directly or through a member of the Board, without permission of the Mayor. No question shall be asked of a member of the Board except through the Mayor or the Mayor Pro Tempore in his/her absence.

The City of Ozark will provide a staff member to clean the podium area prior to each speaker to ensure the safety of our attendees. We encourage our community to attend this meeting so that the Board and Mayor Gardner may hear a diverse set of opinions.
