Progress continues at the 3rd and McCracken St. intersection with crews completing over 75 percent of the project. Crews will pour the bridge deck after the holiday and do some miscellaneous cleaning up throughout the project area.
The end bents have been painted and sealed, both spans of the bridge have been painted, intermediate bent repair has been completed including painting, installation of deck pans finished, lights installed, and bridge sections set back on their foundation.
Expansion joints were set in place, and rebar has been tied and is ready for the bridge deck pour. The handrail has been installed on top of the wall at 3rd and Jackson. Excavation of McCracken is in process and prepped for asphalt.
