Pedestrian, driving path installed at Garrison Springs

garrisonnewsflash

Ozark, Mo - Construction at The Community Forest at Garrison Springs is making significant headway.

A pedestrian path and driving path have been laid down across the creek, with rocks thoughtfully placed along the stream to help with erosion and preserve the older trees. Now that this portion is complete, it will also allow crews access to areas of the park where some storm debris cleanup will be needed.

Safety walls will also be installed along the walking path, ensuring stream bank stabilization and safety for all visitors.

Phase 2 of this project will go before the Board of Aldermen at its regularly scheduled public meeting on Sept. 5 at City Hall.

Garrison Springs remains closed to the public to ensure your safety, as well as that of construction crews, and to give them the space they need to complete their work efficiently.

We appreciate your patience during the process. We can't wait for the community to experience the stunning beauty and recreational opportunities that the Community Forest at Garrison Springs will offer. Stay tuned for further updates!
