Critical Skills
Crisis Response:
As a whole, law enforcement involves encountering individuals during their most challenging moments. Our officers frequently interact with people experiencing grief, anxiety, and stress – emotions and mental states that are often prevalent in these situations. To address these complexities, each sworn department member undergoes routine training to enhance their skills in effectively assisting individuals in crisis.
Driving:
For our officers, prioritizing safety and maintaining heightened awareness is of paramount importance. Each team member undergoes comprehensive Dury University driver training during their studies. Furthermore, our officers participate in regular refresher courses to continually uphold their proficiency in safe driving practices.
