Dispatchers take calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Non-emergency calls should be directed to our phone line at 417-581-6600. For all emergency calls, please dial 911.
Emergency Phone
The lobby door is left open 24 hours a day for emergency situations. There is an emergency phone located inside that rings directly to a 911 dispatcher.
Scam Alert
The Ozark Police Department has been notified about fraudulent calls being made using the department's phone number.
"Spoofing," a technique to deceive by displaying a false caller ID, is being employed to extract sensitive information from unsuspecting individuals.
It is important to note that the Ozark Police Department will never request any form of payment over the phone. We do not handle bond or fine collections through phone transactions.
While our preference is to conduct business in person, there are instances when officers may need to make phone calls regarding specific matters. If you ever have doubts about the legitimacy of a phone call claiming to be from the police department, you have the right to request that the officer visit your residence to confirm their identity.
