What Is the DREAM Initiative?
The DREAM Initiative, The Downtown Revitalization and Economic Assistance for Missouri, is a project dedicated to revitalizing the downtown areas of small communities in Missouri. The City of Ozark was selected by former Missouri Governor Jay Nixon as one of five DREAM communities in 2010. The city has partnered with PGAV planners, the Missouri Department of Economic Development, and the Ozark Chamber of Commerce to build the foundation and form the overall vision for Ozark’s downtown DREAM area.
