Chadwick Flyer

The Chadwick Flyer Trail is part of an ongoing project in partnership with Ozark Greenways that will provide a multimodal trail to connect Ozark to its surrounding communities. This trail follows along the old Chadwick Flyer Railroad bed from Ozark to Springfield through a safe pedestrian trail experience.

Phase 1: Completed - this segment of trail runs from the Ozark Community Center to Clay Street. This project also included the Jackson Street underpasses and connector trail along Jackson Street. Phase 1 Overview

Phase 2: Completed - this segment of trail runs from Biagio Street to the connection on 21st Street in front of Olde World Estates. Tracker Marine provided a recreational trail easement for the portion that runs through their property.

Phase 3: Completed - this segment of trail runs from Kissick Avenue in Springfield and dead ends in open land near Westwind Drive in Ozark.

Phase 4: Work In Progress - this segment of trail will connect from the end of Phase I (Clay Street) to near 20th Street and include a multimodal bridge over Highway 65.

Phase 5: Work In Progress - this segment of trail will connect Phase II to Phase IV.
