The City of Ozark is excited to announce the development of a new Master Parks Plan, a long-term vision for the future of parks, trails, and recreation throughout our community. This plan will serve as a roadmap to guide future improvements, investments, and priorities, ensuring our parks and facilities continue to enrich the lives of residents and visitors for generations to come.
In April 2025, the City of Ozark selected SWT Design to conduct a comprehensive master plan for the Parks & Recreation Department, as well as select site planning for parks such as Garrison Springs. This process will highlight the needs of our parks system and ensure that our department is moving in a direction to address those needs.
We believe that parks are key contributors to Ozark’s quality of life. That’s why this new Master Parks Plan is being developed with your input at its core. Throughout this process, we’ll be asking for your thoughts, experiences, and ideas. Whether you’re a daily trail user, a parent cheering on your child’s soccer game, a nature lover, or someone who simply enjoys a peaceful afternoon in the park, your voice matters.
What will the plan cover?
