Ozark, Mo. – The Ozark Community Center recently installed a new Mamava Lactation Pod, providing a dedicated space for mothers to breastfeed or pump while visiting the facility.
The spacious pod is wheelchair-accessible and offers a clean, secure, and comfortable space for nursing mothers. It features built-in seating, a locking door, power outlets, lighting, and ventilation, all designed to promote privacy and convenience.
The addition of the pod reflects the Parks & Recreation Department’s commitment to making The OC an accessible and family-friendly destination.
“The installation of the Mamava pod is a meaningful step in our ongoing commitment to supporting families in Ozark,” said Parks & Recreation Director Hayden Ponsar. “It provides a private, comfortable space for nursing mothers, whether they’re guests, members, or part of our staff, because meeting the needs of our community is always a top priority.”
Moms can gain entry by visiting the front desk and receiving a code that can be entered on the touch screen located outside the pod. The pod is free to use during all community center hours.
