ADA Compliance Program

Our Commitment to Accessibility

The City of Ozark is committed to ensuring that all residents, visitors, and employees, regardless of ability, have equal access to programs, services, activities, and facilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable laws.

What is the ADA?

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and access to public and private places that are open to the general public.

Under the ADA, local governments (Title II entities) are required to make reasonable modifications to policies, practices, and procedures to avoid discrimination and ensure access.
